March VoM: Marisa Lee

Our March Volunteer of the Month is South Bay campaign intern Marisa Lee. A graduate of UC Santa Cruz and the UC Berkeley Summer Institute in Sustainable City Planning, Marisa has been interning with Greenbelt Alliance since October 2010.

Marisa LeeOver the past six months, Marisa has helped with outreach to business owners along North Bayshore Avenue in Mountain View, outreach to Santa Clara County officials about the Sustainable Communities Strategy regional planning process, and support for the effort to Save Caltrain. If her help with advocacy work wasn’t enough, Marisa has dazzled us with her event planning skills!  Three events held with the Mountain View Coalition for Sustainable Planning would never have gone so smoothly without Marisa’s advance planning.

Thank you, Marisa, for all your great work!
